Low Carb Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
Stuffed cabbage rolls are ok, but unstuffed cabbage rolls are even better! They taste just like normal cabbage rolls except easier to make!

Ingredients
  • 2Lbs lean ground beef
  • 1Tbsp oil
  • 1Large onion, chopped
  • 1regular Clove garlic, minced
  • 1small cabbage, chopped
  • 2cans diced tomatoes14.5oz
  • 1can tomato sauce8oz
  • 1/2Cup water
  • 1Tsp ground black pepper
  • 1Tsp sea salt
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and onion and cook, stirring, until ground beef is no longer pink and onion is tender.
  3. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepper, and salt.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.

  8. If you’d rather not do this as a low carb recipe, then you can cook whole wheat egg noodles and top them with the unstuffed cabbage rolls
